I have always been a designer at heart. From the age of 3, I have been drawing everything that my mind was able to dream of. Artistic creativity was always an area where I was able to excel both in my entire school career and in my personal life.
Coming from a family of engineers, doctors, and complex thinkers, it was only natural that when I began a career in design, I went from pen and paper to digital devices as my canvas. It was natural that my work would incorporate what I feel is a deeper level of thought beyond a single frame. The need for a deeper level of thinking and interactivity in my visual creations is what lead me to pursue a career in website and design, rather than traditional graphic art or other visual disciplines.
From High-Volume Production to Enterprise Leadership
The real game-changer was learning how to code using front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and Javascript. Once I understood how the visual elements I created interacted with each other, I was able to see the discipline of design more dynamically and not only make more impactful decisions, but also create designs that were more meaningful and had an impact on peoples’ lives. This is how I transitioned from traditional website design from a visual lens, to immersing myself in the field of User Experience Design.​​
My journey as a business strategist for websites and mobile was forged in the competitive landscape of Philadelphia. Early in my career, I spearheaded the design and maintenance of 2,000+ custom business websites in a three-year period, standardizing quality at scale for diverse industries including legal and medical firms.
This foundation led me to lead high-performance UX teams for global entities like Deloitte and JP Morgan Chase & Co.. As a Lead UX Designer, I didn't just design interfaces; I built enterprise-level design systems and strategic roadmaps that drove $1.3M in stakeholder investment and measurable increases in user satisfaction.
